Simple!

A small talk and a decade to understand.

A tiny memory, hundred perceptions to wait and ponder upon.

Don't you think, only if we meant what we say,

said what we thought. Life would have been much simpler.

Rather than trying to make a meaning out of simple phrases

and then getting stumbled in between those confusing pathways.
